Merry Christmas!

It is so nice to have all the kids home for a few days. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve service at our church. Tye was an usher so he had to arrive early and help set up chairs and prepare the candles for distribution before the service.
During this service we had a live telling of the Christmas Story. Live as in Mary and Joseph were escorted in by the singing, ribbon waving children. Then baby Jesus was placed in Mary's arms. Next came the Shepherds, complete with real goats. And finally the wise men arrived with their gifts.
The gut busting funny part of this story is the usher, who had to pick up goat poop as part of his duties. I think we will give Tye a hard time about this for Christmas' to come!
It is now a quiet Christmas morning and all the kids are still sleeping. We open gifts on Christmas Eve, allowing the family to spend Christmas day hanging out, eating good food, creating memories for years to come.
Merry Christmas to all!

This is the second time I ran into your blog, while searching for a Bula recipe for my wife. We have used the recipe both times and the Bula came out very nice--thank you.

While in your blog I discovered your family's story. What a beautiful family you have. I saw your beautiful family picture. You all look happy and that is a blessing. God Bless you all in this New Year.
